"Peanut's" Four Month Check Up

She is starting to hold her rattles now :)

What a BIG girl in her Jumperoo :)

Kendal had her 4 month check up today. She is weighing in at 10lbs 11oz. Woo hooo!!! It only took us four months to get her to this point. She is also 22 3/4 inches long. She IS growing!! The doctor seemed pleased with her progress. She still has a slight murmur, but the doctor doesn't seem too concerned at this point. She is holding her head up so well, and she almost rolled over on the table. We tried, but it just wasn't happening.

We have officially switched her to formula, and that has been crazy. She is getting use to it though, we are still working on what one is going to work out best for her. Right now we are using Similac Advanced. The other one we were using made her constipated. Poor thing has been miserable for days.

The whole Heyde household has colds right now except for Kendal. Poor Aidan has the cough and runny nose, but nothing seems to be slowing the little guy down. Lord knows I've tried!!!
So, it's been a little crazier then normal around here. I'm looking forward to getting us all well again.

Kendal's BIG Milestone!!!

Hey everyone!! Just wanted you all to know that my big girl rolled over last night. Josh and I both missed it, kind of sad. She was playing in her crib all by herself because I was trying to put clothes away. Josh was out playing with Aidan. I heard her fuss for a few seconds, and when I looked over at her because this toy started making noise, she was on her back!!! I screamed for Josh and we were both just in shock. It was so exciting, and a little sad too. I hope to catch her with the camera today. When I do, I'll be sure to post some pictures. That's all for now. :) Have a great weekend.

Welcome :)

Welcome to our family blog. I decided it was about time for me to do something like this, so that friends and family can keep up with our lives. For those of you that didn't know we have a new addition to our family. Kendal Rae was born on September 27th, she was 5.28 oz and 17.5 inches longs. She is such a "Little Peanut" and continues to thrive everyday. Her big brother has come to enjoy her very much.

Here are my babies....Kendal Rae just shy of 4 months.

She is quite the Drama Queen :)

This is my "Little Monster" Aidan Joshua. He will be 3 in May!
We are currently potty training, which has its ups and downs.

Life sure is changing on a daily basis. Aidan is really talking up a storm and is starting to sing a lot. His favorite songs are " Old McDonald", "Twinkle, Twinkle", and "The Wheels On The Bus." It is so funny to listen to him sing!! He is growing up so fast. :(

Potty training is going okay, we have good days and bad days. I know he will get it one of these days, but it's so frustrating at times. He does great if you set timers and put him on the potty, but if you leave it up to him he won't tell you when he has to go. He knows that he gets a marshmallow if he goes potty, so he thinks he needs them all the time. :) Little stinker!

Kendal is thriving daily, she smiles and coos when you talk to her. She is holding her head up a lot better, but not rolling over yet. She wiggles back and forth and tries to roll, but she just can't quiet get it yet. She is such a little peanut. :) She has her four month check up next Tuesday, so we are anxious to see what she weighs. Two weeks ago, she was still only 9lbs 15oz. I wish she would get just a tad bit bigger. She still wants to eat every 2-3 hours, and only eats about 2.5-3oz at a time. So frustrating!! We have recently started supplementing with formula when I'm not around to nurse her. (Josh's idea) It works sometimes :) She did seem more satisfied for about 2 days, but that soon ended. That's all for now...hope you are all caught up . :)
